Since today was our last day in Costa Rica, I thought it would be better to share everyone's favorite memory of the trip instead of just an overview of the day's activities. We did enjoy spending time at the University of Costa Rica School of Public Health today, especially the scavenger hunt!

"I loved getting to experience the homestay dinner and getting the chance to be submerged in the culture here. I also loved meeting the students at the Federacion de Estudiantes at UCR today." - Sam
"Piling in to the back of a pick up with everybody and racing the rising tide to plant mangrove trees." -Rebekah
"Walking through the village Los Anonos and seeing all the poverty stricken people and realizing how grateful we all should be for the small things and for Pablo Juan my first love in Costa Rica." - Destiny
"Obvi the birds are number 1, but also surfing for the first time (with some solid crashes). I also enjoyed learning the meringue and practicing with local Costa Ricans." -Taylor
"I absolutely loved learning the whole chemistry process that was involved in creating the perfect piece of chocolate." -Donna
"My favorite thing about Costa Rica is that I can't choose a favorite thing! Each day was new and brought a totally new experience. I enjoyed zip lining and walking through the barrio while discussing health issues the most. Overall, it has been a great experience." - Jasmyn
"Watching the United States win the women's world cup in the home of the nicest and most welcoming Costa Rican family was something I will never forget." -Madison
"My first time snorkeling and surfing was amazing! Under the water and on top of the water, it was an amazing way to connect with our ocean and realize the impact we have on it." -Lori
"Getting to Uvita and deciding I would live there. Check in in ten years, I'll be there." - Natalie
"Digging the mangrove holes and how exhausted we all were. It brought us to a primal state and we finally stopped constantly smiling at each other." - David
"When the kapuchins jumped on our boat and were barely a foot away from me." - Dr. Hondalus
"Kolita. Meat. My beach dog. #asianinvasion" -Savannah
"Seeing the macaws for the first time and watching y'all surf. It was much more fun than me trying to surf!" - Dr. Black
"My favorite days were definitely snorkeling, surfing, and working with VIDA. I really loved connecting with the ocean in new ways and could not have asked for a better way to have practiced clinical skills." -Jaclyn
We have had such an amazing time in Costa Rica and we can't wait to get home and tell you all more about it!
